Outpatient Health Policy

Outpatient Health Policy provides coverage for medical expenses incurred outside of a hospital admission or overnight stay, such as doctor’s visits, diagnostic tests, consultations, preventive care, and prescription medications.

Covers the cost of consultations and medical examinations with general practitioners, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals.

Diagnostic Tests

Coverage for diagnostic procedures such as laboratory tests, X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and other imaging studies necessary for diagnosing medical conditions.

Prescription Medications

Covers the cost of prescription drugs and medications prescribed by healthcare providers for the treatment of acute or chronic illnesses.

Preventive Care Services

Includes coverage for preventive healthcare services such as screenings and health check-ups aimed at promoting overall health and preventing diseases.

Outpatient Surgery

Offers coverage for minor surgical procedures performed in outpatient settings such as ambulatory surgery centers or outpatient clinics, including anesthesia, surgeon fees, and facility charges.

Alternative Medicine - Coverage for physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy.

Dental and Vision – Covers the dental and vision treatment arising out of accidents incurred at any networked facility in India as an outpatient.

Exclusions

1. Expenses related to preexisting medical conditions or illnesses are excluded from coverage for a specified waiting period.

2. Cosmetic treatments, elective surgeries, and aesthetic procedures performed for cosmetic purposes, unless deemed medically necessary by a healthcare provider.

3. Costs associated with experimental treatments, procedures, drugs, or therapies not approved by regulatory authorities.

4. Expenses unrelated to medical treatment or healthcare services, such as transportation costs, lodging, meals, and personal expenses.
